Samsung To Unveil AI-Powered Galaxy Book 4 Laptops On December 15

Samsung is reportedly set to launch its Galaxy Book 4 series on December 15, 2023.
The new laptop lineup is expected to be powered by Intel's latest Meteor Lake processors, which feature an integrated neural processing unit (NPU).
The Galaxy Book 4 series is said to be the first "AI-powered laptop."
This means that the laptops will utilize silicon capability to power Samsung's own AI model, Samsung Gauss, to implement on-device AI.
On-device AI refers to devices that can run artificial intelligence capabilities locally, meaning all AI processing happens on the device itself, rather than in the cloud.
This shift to on-device AI is expected to provide a number of benefits, including improved performance, privacy, and security.
AI-powered laptops will be able to perform tasks such as image recognition and natural language processing much faster than traditional laptops.
Additionally, on-device AI will help to protect user privacy by keeping all AI processing data on the device itself.
