Sweeten Your Valentine's Day with these Classic Red Velvet Cupcakes

Ingredients
1/2- cup all purpose flour
1/4 -cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon -baking powder
1/2 teaspoon -baking soda
1/2 teaspoon- salt
1 cup- granulated sugar
1/2 cup- vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon -vanilla extract
1/2 cup -buttermilk
2 tablespoons -red food coloring
1 teaspoon -white vinegar
Preheat the oven to 350F (180C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate mixing bowl, beat together the sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until well combined.
Stir in the buttermilk, red food coloring, and vinegar until the batter is smooth and well combined.
Bake the cupcakes for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool completely before frosting
