A Delicious and Traditional Recipe for Chicken Tikka Masala

Chicken Tikka Masala is a popular Indian dish made with chunks of marinated chicken that are skewered and grilled
Ingredients:
1kg -boneless chicken
1 cup- plain yogurt
2 tablespoons -grated ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons -lemon juice
2 teaspoons -ground cumin
2 teaspoons- ground coriander
1 teaspoon -ground turmeric
1 teaspoon -garam masala
In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, ginger, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, salt and pepper.
Add the chicken and toss to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes
Stir in the tomato paste and diced tomatoes, bring to a simmer, and cook for 5 minutes.
Thread the chicken onto skewers and grill or broil until cooked through.
Add the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir in the cream.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice or naan bread.
